One man’s gustatory romance with steak

MANILA, Philippines - Carmelo “Melo” Santiago is a name that has been synonymous with certified Angus Beef Steaks in the Philippines and is referred to as “the guru of steaks,” making steak connoisseurs of Filipinos and blazing the trail in steak fine dining since establishing the Melo’s chain of restaurants in 1988.
