MANILA, Philippines- Enzo Pineda doesn't want to comment on the reports that Aljur Abrenica is the reason why Louise delos Reyes broke up with him.
"Siguro para sa akin silang dalawa talaga ang dapat n'yong tanungin tungkol dyan," he said in a recent interview with philSTAR.com and other media outfits. "I don't have to answer that because I know the truth. So kung ano ang sinasabi niya, siguro do'n lang talaga."
The Kapuso actor admitted that it was Louise who ended the relationship, but then "I didn't take it against her naman, it was her decision," he said. "And of course in a relationship it should be both parties naman. So parang ako naman, I just have to understand her. Marami kaming pinagsamahan and siyempre minahal ko siya. So kung decision niya 'yon and she thinks it is best for her, kailangan ko siyang bitawan kung gano'n."
Though ending their three-year relationship was hard, Enzo chose to remain positive and focus on improving his self.
He also brought with him "the lessons sa nangyari sa relationships mo. I think wala kang pinagsisihan kasi it's all about the memories you shared and all the good time we had.
"So para sa akin importante 'yon, hindi naman may isang bagay na nangyari na it has to end, everything has to end. Of course I'm thankful na nagkasama kami for three years and marami kaming pinagsamahan. Siguro it's just another chapter of our lives na we have to go on separate ways"
Though he's not dating anyone at the moment, the young actor enjoys meeting new people outside of the showbiz circle. He also adds that if given a chance, he would like to have a non-showbiz girlfriend to have more "privacy" when it comes to his relationship.
Meanwhile, Enzo is excited for the public to see his first independent film, "Sundalong Kanin," which is one of the Cinemalaya entries this year.
"Ang role ko dito is isang soldier na part ng Lisa Fe, "he said about his role. "It's about the Filipino-Japanese war, isa ako sa nakatakas sa Death March. Pagbalik ko, 'yong bayan ko is overwhelmed by Japanese forces. So ang problem do'n, paano ko tatalunin ang kalaban do'n."
Having experienced working on an independent film, Enzo says he have seen its difference from the mainstream films he has done before.
"Acting is more than what you see in local television. It's art. That's what I realized, it takes a lot of passion to work on something like this," he said.
