MANILA, Philippines - When it comes to bringing the best out of every person, only Dr. Vicki Belo (photo) knows how, medically that is!
Her clinic boasts of two procedures called Rhinoplasty and Belo Lumina. On ABS-CBN’s Salamat Dok this Sunday, Dr. Belo holds a live discussion on both topics as well as showcasing a live demonstration of Vitamin Infusion with Glutathione.
The No. 1 request at the Belo Medical clinic for the last 24 years is skin whitening. Somehow, patients come believing that fair and even-colored skin can add to their self-confidence. That is why the research team at the Belo Medical Group (BMG) has spent years developing an advanced skin whitening system that works fast fast, safe and effective. Thus, the birth of Belo Lumina.
The system addresses the pigmentation problem from many directions: Decreases the formation of melanin (cell responsible for skin darkening); Gets rid of melanin that’s already in the skin; and Inhibits the transfer of melanin to the top layer of skin decreasing skin darkening.
Clinic treatments consist of the following: Body scrub twice a week followed by skin illuminating cream; wet and dry dermabrasion with the application of a mild skin peeling agent Beta HD and the Active 4 whitening system — IV glutathione twice a week and IV multivitamins to act as co enzymes. At home, the patient needs to take two tablets of Glutanac daily and apply Belo Radiance and Belo Illuminate creams.
For the Rhinoplasty procedure, Dr. Belo holds an informative discussion of the procedure with one of her patients, Nurse Annie Balalio, on the show. The Advance Framework Rhinoplasty is approached structurally in its bones and cartilages through osteotomy, septoplasty and grafts. In the procedure, Goretex implants are ideally used for bridge augmentation. Grafts from the patient’s own cartilage or silicone may be used as well. Another associated surgery is alarplasty, better known as trimming of the nostril/alae. The tip of the nose may also be enhanced through tip-plasty.
Dr. Belo will also discuss the Belo Herbal Diet Pill, a prescription-only supplement that uses almost 100-percent plant-derived ingredients. It is a highly-efficient cocktail of bitter melon (ampalaya), chili and gingko biloba — with shrimp-derived chitosan and Vitamin B complex to round it out. It helps the patient with increasing metabolism, burning fat and suppressing appetite. It also increases blood circulation and helps carbohydrates turn into energy without the common side-effects associated with caffeine-centric pills such as heart palpitations and agitation.
Salamat Dok airs this Sunday at 7:30 a.m. with simulcast on ANC.
