MANILA, Philippines – Gerald Anderson says he is open to working with former onscreen partner and ex-girlfriend Kim Chiu.
“Trabaho po yun, oo naman,” he said in an interview with ABS-CBN's showbiz talk show “The Buzz” on Sunday, July 13. “I'm just happy that everything is okay. And of course, basta maganda po yung project.
This comes after the reported reconciliation of Kim and Gerald's current girlfriend Maja Salvador some months ago.
Kim and Gerald also worked together recently in a TV commercial for an instant coffee brand.
In fact, the 25-year-old actor said the fans of his love team with the “Ikaw Lamang” star deserve a new Kimerald project.
“I think the fans the deserve it,” Gerald told “The Buzz.”
Gerald and Kim, whose onscreen partnership became popular following their appearance in the 2006 Pinoy Big Brother Teen Edition, broke up in 2010.
Meanwhile, the “Dyesebel” actor said his relationship with Maja is stronger.
“Sa lahat ng pinagdadaanan namin, sa lahat ng mahirap na sitwasyon, you become stronger, you become more together,” he said.
Gerald added, “I think the best relationships are the ones na mahirap, kasi you become stronger, you become closer you're there for each other.”
