MANILA, Philippines - Aspiring Pinoy chefs can discover how it is to be the star of the show in the kitchen by observing first-hand a day in the life of an executive chef through a contest launched by Le Cordon Bleu, the internationally-renowned network of educational institutions dedicated to providing the highest level of culinary and hospitality instructions through world-class programs.
Le Cordon Bleu has tied up with International Education Specialists (Inter-Ed), the premier student placement organization in the Philippines, in conducting the competition that offers the winner the grand prize of spending a day at the workplace with an executive chef of a five-star hotel in Metro Manila.
To join the contest, dubbed as A Day In The Life Of An Executive Chef, participants have to answer three questions found at the Inter-Ed website (http://www.inter-ed.com/le-cordon-bleu-contest), with the six best entries to be named as finalists.
The six contestants with the best answers will be featured in a televised panel interview, after which the winner will be named.
The participants who will decide to enroll in any of the Le Cordon Bleu campuses throughout the world are entitled to the privilege of having the costs of their student visas and air fares shouldered by Le Cordon Bleu.
Participants can also get the chance to win exciting and exclusive Le Cordon Bleu merchandise as consolation prizes.
The contest is open to everybody with an interest and passion to be a chef and ends on Oct. 3.
