Itchyworms in Ginuman Fest San Juan leg

MANILA, Philippines - The Itchyworms will play its greatest hits at the Ginebra San Miguel Ginuman Fest edition that goes to San Juan City on June 21.

The Metro Manila leg to be held during San Juan City’s fiesta season is one of three events that will complete this year’s Ginuman Fest to mark Ginebra San Miguel’s 180th anniversary. The other remaining editions will be in Daet, Camarines Norte today and Tuguegarao City, Cagayan, June 28.

The band is known for songs Akin Ka Na Lang, Gusto Ko Lamang Sa Buhay, Penge Naman Ako Niyan and the new GSM Blue jingle, Tara mag-Blue, now riding the radio waves across the country.

Lead vocalist Jugs Jugueta said the newest GSM Blue jingle is one of the songs in an upcoming album that will showcase anew the pop rock band’s vocal harmony and quirky lyrics.

Itchyworms is composed of Jugueta (guitars and lead vocals), Chino Singson (lead guitar), Kelvin Yu (bass guitar) and Jazz Nicolas (drums).

Regular guests in the fest include Callalily, Rocksteddy, Banda ni Kleggy, Abra, Jhong Hilario and Ginebra San Miguel brand ambassadors Anne Curtis, Solenn Heussaff, Georgina Wilson, Paulo Avelino, Ginebra San Miguel calendar girl Marian Rivera and the Barangay Ginebra Gin Kings.
