Gina Alajar says no third party on Carla-Geoff breakup

MANILA, Philippines- Gina Alajar  said  there's no third party involved in the breakup of her son Geoff Eigenmann and Carla Abellana.

In an interview with Philippine Entertainment Portal, Alajar said that the reasons of their breakup are “vague” and nothing major.

“Masyadong vague yung reasons,” she said. “Ang pagkakaalam ko, walang major, walang third party, walang isang bagay na pinag-awayan. It’s katulad na lang din ng mga away ng mag-asawa na merong mga maliliit na bagay na pinalalagpas ng isa’t isa.

“Pagkatapos, ‘di ba, hindi kumikibo, ang akala matitiis na lang, yung ganun. 'Tapos kapag sumabog na, ‘pag nagpatung-patong na ‘yan, bigla na lang sasabog ‘yan! I think ganun yung nangyari.”

Another reason that she thinks is a big factor in the breakup is the difference in Carla and Geoff's religious beliefs.

“She’s a devout Catholic, we’re Christians. Isa yun, isa yun,” she explained. “So, I don’t think hindi naman nila pinagtatalunan yun sa harapan namin, pero siguro sa kanilang dalawa, napapagtalunan ‘yan. Hindi ba?

“May ganun, so siguro ayaw magbigay ng isa’t isa, hindi ba? Just to even try... just to even try attending her church, or attending his church, yung ganun. May conflict ‘yan sa ganyan, e. So siguro, she felt na hindi na mare-resolve yung ganung isyu because, for her, it’s a major thing.”

'It's not true!'

Meanwhile, Alajar also clarified the issue linking Geoff to his “Adarna” leading lady Kylie Padilla.

“I don’t think that’s true,” she replied when asked if there's  something going on between Geoff and Kylie. “I don’t think that’s true. I mean, alam ko, magkaibigan si Geoff at si Kylie bilang magkasama sila sa gym.
“Kung anuman yung iniisip ng ibang tao, palagay ko nagkakamali sila. It’s a separate issue. Nakakapikon din yun! Iyon, nakakapikon din 'yon.”

Alajar didn't deny that she felt bad about this rumor.

“Nainis ako dun sa taong nagsalita! Hindi ba?” she said. “Kasi parang hindi niya naman inisip kung ano yung sinasabi niya. Hindi ba?”

Though she didn't name names, many believe that she's referring to Aljur Abrenica. Aljur  had said in an interview that Geoff allegedly flirted with his then girlfriend Kylie.

After the two were linked, the news about Geoff and Carla's breakup came out.

And just a few weeks ago, Kylie confirmed that she and Aljur called it quits.

Still, Gina said she's willing to forgive the person she's talking about. But she promised to give a lecture to this person should they meet eventually.
