Sarah Lahbati's mom laments 'snub' during Zion's party

MANILA, Philippines- Esther Lahbati, Sarah Lahbati's mother, says that she's been mistreated during Zion's baptismal party.

Zion is Sarah's son with actor Richard Gutierrez.

According to Philippine Entertainment Posrtal's report Tuesday, June 17, Esther aired her dismay on her Instagram account. The post was eventually deleted.

She posted a screen capture of the comments portion of her Facebook post where she said, “Ang pogi talaga ni Zion Lahbati.” Her husband Abdel Lahbati commented as well saying, “Officially his name is still Zion Lahbati not Gutierrez.”

In the post's caption she said that she was “ignored” during the party of his grandson.

“The Truth! Masakit ang ma ignore sa party.hindi naman puwede pera pera na lang ang lagi nangingibabaw para lang makilala ka sa lipunan,” she said.

Esther added that, “at the end of the day sinabihan pa ako ng 'Esther magbalot ka ng mga tirang pagkain dyan'.  Pinarinig pa sa mga bisita grabe!

“Naaawa ako sa sarili ko.the whole party hindi ako pinansin tapos para ako patay gutom na aalukin ng tira pagkain.”

Meanwhile, an hour after Esther's post, Sarah posted on  Instagram  a photo of her, Richard, and baby Zion together with her parents.

In the caption she said, “We have gone through a lot in the past year and a half. Both the Lahbati's and the Gutierrez's had to go through lots of obstacles and sacrifices to be able to help Chard and I deal with our problems. Now that all the dust has settled, everyone is happy that we have a new family member, baby Zion. ❤️ He is such a blessing to us. Zion has brought so much joy to our lives, everybody wants to spend time with him. Like any other family we have misunderstandings but we will settle this internally and we will move forward. I hope that we can all live in harmony. Accept, support and understand one another for the sake of baby Zion... ❤️”
