What’s right for Julia & Enrique

MANILA, Philippines - Do you really know what is right for your heart?

Two of the country’s fast-rising stars and ABS-CBN’s pride, Enrique Gil and Julia Barretto, have found an answer to that question.

At their young age, both know that they should start having a healthy heart to achieve a healthy body to be able to love more.

Enrique said that he became a fan of San Marino Corned Tuna when he decided to eat healthy food. It was the right fit when Foodsphere, Inc. tapped him and Julia to be the newest endorsers for San Marino Corned Tuna. “I love it! Even before, San Marino Corned Tuna na ang palaging kinakain ko. Then, they got me as their endorser, wow, it’s like a win-win situation.”

He recalled that it was his peers who introduced him to the product. “Before I joined the Bachelor Bash, I didn’t know anything, I was like 17 and the youngest at that time. And they told me, ang diet ko nga raw, I can eat crackers and San Marino Corned Tuna and since then, it was really effective.”

“And what I enjoyed the most, naka-diet ako, pero, ang sarap ng kinakain ko. So, you don’t feel like you’re dieting,” Enrique added.

Enrique’s favorite is the San Marino Corned Tuna chili flavor.

Meanwhile, Julia used to be a junk food lover before she was influenced by Enrique to eat healthy food, which started when they began working together on ABS-CBN’s afternoon series Mirabella.

Since then, both have been enjoying the benefits of San Marino Corned Tuna  — less oil, lots of tuna, no preservatives, rich in omega 3 and easy to prepare with an easy open can.

“Actually, I learned it from Enrique. Because on the set, this guy, he diets. And there are times na nakikita ko talaga sa diet niya ang corned tuna,” Julia shared, â€œsometimes, his face is smaller than mine onscreen, hahaha! So, every time we have taping, I have to diet. I have to try what he does. And, it’s delicious!”

She added, “I’m just very grateful, it could have been anybody. It could have been a different pair. But they trust Enrique and I, and it’s such an honor.”

As the new endorsers, Enrique and Julia enjoyed their time working together for their TV commercial. Julia said, “Sabi ko nga, work ba ‘to? It’s super fun, especially with Enrique.”

At this point, do they really know what’s right for their heart?

“I think so, but I believe, you’ll never know if you don’t try,” Julia answered. “I’m like that — unless you experience it yourself, unless you learn from it, you’ll never know. Of course, I also have set some standards and now, I can say, I know what’s right for my heart.”

As for Enrique, “I think, it’s the same thing, how would you know if it’s the right thing if you will not try it? How can you tell if you love that person if you’ve never been in love? If I feel I love somebody then we broke up, hindi pala love yun. Because if it’s really love then we should still be together. If you know what love is, you can distinguish what’s true and not. So now, I think I know more and more sa mga nangyari the past few days. Mas alam ko what’s real or not.”

They both believe that if you know what’s right for you, you’ll never go wrong in your choices.
