Rocco acts opposite Nora

MANILA, Philippines - GMA Artist Center star and one of the Kapuso network’s leading men, Rocco Nacino feels honored to be working with Superstar Nora Aunor and director Joel Lamangan via a Cinemalaya entry titled Hustisya which will be shown this year.

According to Rocco, Nora’s overwhelming presence on the set was just undeniable.  

In Hustisya, Rocco breathes life to the character of a lawyer who becomes a bad influence on a probinsyana to be portrayed by Nora.

The actor admitted that his acting skills were put to the test in the Cinemalaya film.

“At first, I was very scared. Then, direk Joel would come in and tell me, ‘Rocco, Rocco, more confidence,” he revealed.

However, Rocco was quick to add that he eventually learned to embrace the pressure. “Ngayon, napapantayan ko na ‘yung emotions na ibinibigay ni Ms. Nora. She has been very helpful like a friend. Actually, she calls me, ‘anak.’”

Meanwhile, Rocco continues to be seen on GMA Network’s musical-variety program Sunday All Stars.
