Smokey Mountain Kaibigan Singers’ concert

MANILA, Philippines - The Junior Chamber International (JCI) Manila will hold a benefit dinner and concert at the Hotel InterContinental Makati Grand Ballroom on June 29 for The Smokey Mountain Kaibigan Singers titled IGNITE! The concert aims to raise funds for the educational and financial scholarship of the children of the Smokey Mountain community.

The Smokey Mountain Kaibigan Singers is a youth choir with 15 different members aged 10 to 19. Under the guidance of Ledda Vinzons, the group will perform Broadway classics and pop, among others. The concert will also feature musician-composer Gary Granada.

JCI is a leadership development organization that provides young people an opportunity to develop and learn social responsibility, entrepreneurship and the fellowship necessary to create positive change. The Manila Jaycees has become the most awarded JCI chapter worldwide owing to innovative projects such as the Ten Outstanding Young Men of the Philippines, the Ten Outstanding Policemen Awards and the Mother Teresa Awards.
