FUNFARE UPDATE - Ricky Lo - The Philippine Star

It was an encore performance by Christian Bautista for the President of Indonesia. The first was in 2008 at the opening ceremonies of the First ASEAN Beach Game in Bali. The second was last May 23 when he was asked by Malacañang to perform in front of dignitaries from Indonesia during a state dinner hosted by Pres. Noynoy Aquino for Indonesian Pres. Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (left photo). Christian sang his hit The Way You Look At Me and Save Our World, an original composition by Pres. Yudhoyono.

A few days ago, Christian flew to Indonesia (where he’s considered a superstar) to guest in four top-rating shows — Yu Keep Smile on Trans TV (right photo), On The Show on Rajawali TV, Indonesia Morning Show and The Sarah Sechan Show both on NETTV 25.

Christian also met with record producers. He will release a new album in Indonesia this year. A concert of Christian titled The Way You Look At Me will be staged on June 23 in Jakarta.
