MANILA, Philippines - It was a happy occasion recently when the man behind PLDT Home Broadband (Fibr and DSL) Gary Dujali turned 40.
Gary is the force behind PLDT MyDSL, Fibr and Tvolution campaigns and is also the staunch volunteer of PLDT’s Gabay Guro Foundation.
Gary has been leading his team to several award-winning commercials for PLDT MyDSL starting with the Anna Banana campaign. His brand-new DSL commercial called Ask Diego is taking the country by storm. Even the social media is abuzzed with Diego and how he thrills everyone with his presence, wit and charm. Diego is the cute seven-year-old boy who gets to advise the public about anything and everything through his Facebook page.
Gary also introduced the Totes Amaze girls of the Tvolution commercial, showing us just how easy and breezy it is to turn your ordinary TV set into an Internet TV using the seemingly complicated high-tech device. The Totes Amaze girls, like Diego, are seen everywhere (at the PBA games, mall launches, movie premieres, openings and inaugurations, TV guestings, radio appearances, etc.) and both are now popular in the social media — a favorite of the young and old alike.
For Gabay Guro, Gary has been steering the marketing team with his widely-successful tribute events for the teachers that culminate yearly at the Mall of Asia Arena (every October). It has toured Bohol, Tacloban and Capiz, bringing joy, fun, prizes and entertainment to the Filipino teachers.
Gary’s birthday party was held at the Buddha Bar in Makati and was attended by his family, and select friends from work and play. Gary, who usually opts to celebrate his big day quietly, chose to gather his close friends to celebrate a new phase in his life this time. “This is it!†is what he says about turning 40.
