Marjorie to Atty. Topacio: 'You are overstepping'

MANILA, Philippines- Marjorie Barretto reacts to Atty. Ferdinand Topacio's Twitter post about her daughter Danni Barretto. 

Topacio is actress Claudine Barretto's lawyer.

On  Instagram, Marjorie on Wednesday night posted a screen shot of Topacio's  tweet comparing  Danni to a horse.

In the caption Marjorie said, “What were you trying to insinuate Atty. Topacio?”

In another post, Marjorie screen captured the title of an audio file of Topacio's interview with News5, Wednesday, titled “Atty. Topacio : Ba't Di na Lang Sina Marjorie At Greta Ang Pinatay Online?”

In the caption she said, “What exactly do you mean???” and she further expressed her dismay through the comments section.

She said: “Are you insinuating Atty.Topakcio (sic) that Gretchen and I did that? I wouldn't waste energy on plotting evil against her. I am busy with my children. It's your camp who came out with that drama to get people to talk about your client who is too close to you. But to insult my daughter? And to say sana si Gretchen o si Marjorie na lang ang pinatay sa online.... You are over stepping. How long have you known Claudine Atty Topakcio (Sic)? 1 or 2 years? We have known her since she was born. Stay put as her lawyer for her cases... But don't touch on me and especially any of my children.”

In the interview, Topacio was asked by Erwin Tulfo if he thinks that there are “spin doctors” who are behind the news that Claudine is dead.

Claudine's lawyer then replied, “maaari din po ano. Pero bakit naman sa lahat ng Barretto sisters ang pinatay naman, e, si Claudine? E, bakit hindi kaya si Gretchen na lang o si Marjorie?”

Erwin the reacted that, “e, 'wag naman, iniiwasan nga po natin 'yang patay-patay na 'yan,” to which  Topacio replied, “hindi sinasabi ko lang, di ko naman sinabing gawin nila. Ba't naman natin gagawin 'yon ano?”

Meanwhile this morning,  Topacio posted a tweet, which seems to be a reply to Marjorie's posts.

“All I can say is if you can dish it out, you must be able to take it as well. Ganun lang po ang buhay," he said.
