PBA player denies rumored relationship with Vice Ganda

MANILA, Philippines –  GlobalPort Batang Pier cager Terrence Romeo broke his silence regarding the rumors that he is the unnamed ex-lover of TV host Vice Ganda.

In an interview with Snow Badua of sports website Spin.ph, Romeo said that he wanted to end gossips that has affected him since his collegiate days in Far Eastern University.

“Sana matapos na 'yung isyu na 'yan, dahil paulit-ulit lang naman na hindi katotohanan! Isang multo 'yan ng imahe ko na gusto ko nang mabura totally,” he said.

The issue was once again revived after a poser account of Romeo on Facebook posted a status denying the relationship with Vice.

“Ako na ang nagsasabi sa inyong lahat, wala kaming naging relasyon ni Vice!!!!! Ang hirap sa inyo kaagad nanghuhusga kayo wala naman kayong alam!!!!!! D`delete ko na mga account ko kapag ako yung nainis!!!! Konting respeto naman pwede!!!!!” the statement read.

The 21-year-old rookie also renounced the Facebook account but said that it somehow reflects his sentiments over the issue.

“Hindi ko FB 'yun. Pero okay na rin 'yung ganun at least alam ng mga tao. Mas okay na 'yung ganun na may nagsabi (sa Facebook para sa akin) ng ganun. Kasi totoo naman yung sinabi niya na wala kaming relasyon (ni Vice),” Romeo added.

In the past weeks, Vice was very vocal about his recent break-up with an unnamed guy adding that he wanted his former lover to have a normal life.

“Gusto ko mag-asawa siya. Sinasabi ko nga sa kanya pag nag-aaway kami, 'Mambabae ka nga. Para hindi ka ma-stress, mambabae ka',” “It's Showtime” host said in a television interview.

Vice added that despite their breakup they are still friends.

“Kaya namin pareho dahil para kaming matalik na magkaibigan. Para sa kanya rin (yung breakup), para maexplore niya yung life niya, marami siyang magawa,” he shared. “We are separated but we are never apart. Forever ko siyang magiging friend. Mabuting tao kasi yun.”
