MANILA, Philippines - The Jump In campaign of Smart Communications, an initiative to encourage young Filipino barkada to embrace changes and challenges that will enable them to “live more,†recently won a merit citation at the Gold Quill Awards 2014.
The Gold Quill is a global symbol of excellence in business communication presented annually by the International Association of Business Communicators.
The campaign kicked off in October 2012 via a music video showcasing global artists apl.de.ap and Jessica Sanchez. The MTV inspired the youth to let go of their hesitations and jump in to life’s moments — like asking their crush out, enjoying new adventures with friends and venturing into new friendships.
Using traditional and social media, the campaign also encouraged young Filipino barkada to switch to Smart to avail themselves of exclusive promos which are both barkada- and budget-friendly.
The promos include Jump All Text 15 (offers unlimited texts to all networks for two days), Jump All Out 15 (allows unlimited texting to all networks, 30 minutes of calls to five Smart, Sun and Talk ‘N Text subscribers and the use of 10 MB of data for one day), Jump All Out 25 (same offers as Jump All Out 15, but valid for two days) and Jump All Out 50 (same offers good for five days).
