Boy Mondragon now with The Hitmen

The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - Remember Boy Mondragon (left), who popularized the song Rain (still being played on the radio up to now)?

He’s a member of the new The Hitmen (from left: Chad Borja, Renz Verano, Rannie Raymundo and Richard Reynoso) which conceptualized a show to welcome Boy, set for May 30 (a Friday) at Primos Bar. The Hitmen will sing their own hits and so will Boy.

It must be recalled the more senior Hitmen group was composed of Hajji Alejandro, Rico J. Puno, Rey Valera and Nonoy Zuñiga.

Known as The Michael Jackson of the Philippines back then, Boy has been busy with shoes in the Middle East, especially Bahrain.

Primos Bar is at Matflower Sr. EDSA corner Shaw Boulevard (telephone 584-2908). The new Hitmen’s show is produced by NJ Associates headed by Norma Japitana, the boys’ manager. (For tickets, call 0927-994-1346 or 0917-995-6588.)
