Aliwan Fiesta 2014 awarding tonight

MANILA, Philippines - Lani Misalucha (photo, left) will render the finale number at the awarding ceremonies of the Aliwan Fiesta 2014 tonight. The event will be preceded by a grand parade. Maegan Aguilar (right) will do the opening production number arranged by Bobby Gomez, together with Nicole Asencio and Tao Aves accompanied by top session musicians Butch Elizalde (guitar), Bobby Taylo (bass), Roy Mercado (drums) and Ernie Baladjay (keyboards).

Feleo sisters Ana and Irina will host the TV special.

The south-bound lane of Roxas Boulavard, from Manila Hotel on Bonifacio St. until Vito Cruz, will be closed to traffic from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m. for the Aliwan Fiesta Parade.

Aliwan Fiesta 2014 is a production of Manila Broadcasting Company and Star City, in cooperation with the CCP and the cities of Manila and Pasay. Now on its 12th year, it is supported by the National Parks Development Committee, TM, Tanduay Rhum, Coca-Cola, Pride, Unique Toothpaste, Shell, Dazz, Alaska Milk, Tiger Biscuits, My Juiz, M.
