Zsa Zsa, Conrad planning US wedding?

Even if his romance with Zsa Zsa Padilla is now public knowledge, A-List architect Conrad Onglao hasn’t gotten used to being in the showbiz spotlight. “I’m not used to it,” he told Funfare Update who assured him that he would be in due time. He was embarrassed being described as a “lady killer” since he has been linked to several beautiful women including two former Bb. Pilipinas, the ex-actress-singer-wife of a popular singer, et al. Okay then, just tag him The Ladies’ Choice.

According to a Funfare Update DPA, Zsa Zsa and Conrad are leaving for the States in October and the big guess is that they might spring a surprise by getting married there. If ever, it would be a dream come true for Zsa Zsa who almost got married to Dolphy in Las Vegas a few years ago. Hampered by legal kinks, Zsa Zsa’s dream got derailed until Dolphy died in July 2012. No such problem with Conrad whose first (and only) marriage (to his fellow UST Architecture graduate and college girlfriend Ivy Almario) was annulled.

Zsa Zsa’s parents (dad is Carlos Padilla Jr.) are based in Las Vegas and she cooks for them every time she visits. That’s what Zsa Zsa and Conrad have, among other things,  in common — love for cooking.

Zsa Zsa’s daughter Karylle was wedded to SpongeCola front man Yael Yuzon last March. You don’t think that, if and when Zsa Zsa and Conrad do tie the knot in the US, the sukob-ng-taon superstition won’t apply to them, do you?

Mother Lily invited to Obama dinner

Regal Matriarch Mother Lily Monteverde will wear a Paul Cabral to the dinner to be hosted by Pres. Noynoy Aquino for US Pres. Barack Obama on Monday, April 28. She said she will have the invitation framed for posterity.

The hottest invite at the moment is to the welcome dinner to be hosted by Pres. Noynoy Aquino for Pres. Barack Obama on Monday, April 28.

Among those invited is Regal Matriarch Mother Lily Monteverde who, in case you’ve forgotten, is a staunch P-Noy supporter from the time he ran for Senator and then for President up to this very day. P-Noy hasn’t forgotten. When Mother Lily was hospitalized, P-Noy was among the first to pay her a visit.

The invitation reminds dinner guests to be in formal attire, National Dress Long Gown for ladies and Barong Tagalog/Dark Suit for gentlemen. Paul Cabral and his staff are now working on it overtime.

A girl for Krista and Niño

True to what Funfare Update reported a few issues ago, Krista Ranillo gave birth to a girl last April 21. To be named Natalie Lourdes (after Our Lady of Lourdes to whom Krista prayed for a baby girl), it’s the third child of Krista and husband Niño Jefferson Lim. Their two sons are named Nathan Jacob and Nolan Jaden (so that the initial of their first names will be the same as that of dad’s).

Except for Nolan (born in July), the rest of the family are April-born.

Krista Ranillo and baby Natalie Lourdes who is named after Our Lady of Lourdes to whom Krista prayed for a daughter after having two sons by husband Niño Jefferson Lim. ‘It’s answered prayer,’ Krista told Funfare Update.

Natalie Lourdes (“Kamukha ni Nate,” said Krista) at birth weighed 7.9 lbs. and measured 20.5 inches.
