Danica open to idea of Vic marrying Pauleen

MANILA, Philippines- Danica Sotto-Pingris will not oppose if her dad Vic Sotto marries his girlfriend Pauleen Luna.

In an interview with Lhar Santiago, aired on “24 Oras” Wednesday night, Danica said that she will support whatever her dad wants.

“Sige go! Basta seryoso siya,” she replied when asked about the possibility of Vic marrying Pauleen. “Di ko alam, pero kung 'yon talaga ang gusto niya tsaka 'yon ang will ni God, e, why not di ba? So nasa kanya 'yon, and nasa Panginoon 'yon.”

The actress said that she has met Pauleen several times, and appreciated the latter's gestures to reach out to Vic's children.

“Siya naman ang nag-reach out para kausapin kami,” Danica relates. “Hindi niya rin pinilit 'yong sarili niya na parang, 'oy, pansinin n'yo ko.' Kumabaga hinayaan na niya 'yong time talaga na handa na namin siyang makilala.”

Vic has earlier said he is also thinking of settling down with Pauleen.

“Alam mo yung mga plano sa buhay parating andyan naman ‘yan, e,” he said. “Kaya ka nakikipag-relasyon sa mga kapwa mo hindi lang dahil trip mo lang, [kasi] meron kang long-term plans, na hindi ko naman puwedeng itanggi na wala kaming plano na to settle or get married in the future.”
