“Hindi naman ako yung bata pa lang, ang biggest dream ko is to get engaged, to be married. Kasi alam ko talaga, ang babae darating ang panahon to settle down, magpapakasal,” Toni said in an interview during the press conference for “Pinoy Big Brother All In” on Wednesday, April 24.

The topic of Toni's marital status came about when the TV host-actress was asked if she's jealous of friend and fellow “Pinoy Big Brother” host Bianca Gonzalez, who recently got engaged to basketball player JC Intal.

“Walang inggit factor,” she said. “I'm happy for Bianca, this is her year, this is her moment, so I'm giving it to her.”

The “Starting Over Again” star further said her boyfriend direk Paul is also “very, very happy for Bianca kasi alam naman namin na andito kami sa age na we're all heading towards that direction.”

'God's timing is perfect talaga'

Toni admitted there was a point she got tired of being asked about getting engaged with Paul. But after a while, she has gotten used to the idea that her relationship with the her director-boyfriend is of interest to people.

“At least they are interested to know kung kailan. Pero so far, wala pa talaga,” she said.

The TV host added, “Kasi that's what I realized when we did 'Starting Over Again.' Ang tagal-tagal na panahon na gusto ko makatrabaho si Piolo, inabot ng 13 years bago kami nagkatrabaho. Tignan mo, naging maganda naman ang resulta.”

Toni is referring to the movie she did with Piolo Pascual earlier this year that became a box-office hit.

“Sabi ko talaga after it happened, 'God's timing is perfect talaga'.”

Paul too has accepted that his relationship with Toni will always be in the public eye.

“Sanay na rin kasi, kasi first year pa lang namin together, tinatanong na kami kung kailan kami ikakasal.  Parang seven years na kaming every year tinatanong kung ikakasal na kami,” she quipped.

Proposal inside Big Brother's house?

Toni spoke to members of the press during the media launch of “Pinoy Big Brother All In,” the latest season of ABS-CBN's long-running reality show, which will premiere this Sunday, April 27. She has been hosting the said program since its first season in 2005.

Unlike the previous seasons that had separate editions for adults and teens, this Pinoy Big Brother edition will feature housemates from late teens to 39-years-old.

“Ayaw talaga nila sabihin sa amin yung mga twist,” Toni said of “Pinoy Big Brother.” “Feeling ko sa Sunday, may mga twists pang mangyayari. May mga bago pa kaming mangyayari.”

Toni added she only found out sister Alex Gonzaga will be hosting the Pinoy Big Brother afternoon show “Uber” with Bianca, John Prats, and Robi Domingo during their pictorial for the program.

This prompted members of the press to ask, “Baka may surprise kay Toni na baka sa loob ng bahay ni Kuya mag-propose si direk Paul?”

To this, Toni joked: “Ginawang housemate si Paul?”

“Huwag naman, huwag sa bahay. Sa dressing room,” she quipped.
