Andi clarifies contradicting statements

What’s the real score between Andi Eigenmann and Jake Ejercito? Are they friends or lovers? The guessing game continues to linger for a long time. They have been spotted several times and their photos are posted on Instagram.

Andi admitted in an interview, “I guess we are considered a couple but we’re not in a labeled relationship. As long as he’s not based here, hindi mababago iyon.”

However, Jake gave a different answer when asked about the status of his relationship with Andi. “No, no, no! We’re still young. I’m still studying and she’s been very busy with all her projects. We’ve been good friends ever since.”

Andi clarified their contradicting statements in Buzz ng Bayan. “Whatever is happening in our life, we’re keeping it to ourselves. I’ve always asked for Jake’s privacy to be respected because he is not a celebrity. He’s not obligated to share his personal life to the world if he doesn’t want to.”

I told Andi that Jake is so public because of his family that’s why people are interested about him.

Andi insisted that she didn’t take it against Jake. “He always tells me, ‘Sinabi ko friends tayo pero nakikita din naman iyong posts ko sa Instagram. It’s public. We are always together.’ It’s basically what you see is what you get. I am very vocal. It’s not hard for me to be open that’s why our statements don’t match.”

I told Andi that maybe it was Jake’s way of protecting whatever they have or whatever they don’t have. There are some things that are better left unsaid and we respect that.

No suitors allowed yet for Kathryn

Kathryn Bernardo recently celebrated her debut at Blue Leaf Filipinas Halls in Pasay City. The guests were dressed in black and white as part of the modern vintage theme of the birthday party. Kathryn looked stunning in her pink beaded gown created by Francis Libiran. Daniel Padilla was her escort.

The debutante danced with the important men in her life during the 18 Roses including her father Teodoro Bernardo, siblings Kevin and Marco, male colleagues and friends, and of course, Daniel who was her last dance. Meanwhile, Kathryn became emotional while listening to the inspiring messages of her family and close friends during the 18 Candles and Treasures.

Kathryn and Daniel are romantically linked to each other. What caught the guests’ attention was her dad’s message to Daniel, “No suitors muna pero thank you, Daniel, for taking care of Kathryn. But so far, so good.” When asked for his reaction, Daniel replied, “Kinabahan ako noong sinabi na no suitors. Pero iyong so far, so good, natuwa naman ako kasi na-appreciate ni Tito iyong ginagawa ko for Kath.”

At the end of the birthday party, Daniel sang Till There Was You to Kathryn.

‘Melason’ proud parents of a baby girl

Melai Cantiveros gave birth to a healthy baby girl named Amelia Lucille at Saint Elizabeth Hospital in General Santos City last April 3.

Proud father Jason Francisco posted their first family picture on Instagram. There was an outpour of congratulatory messages to the first-time parents on various social networking sites like Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.

Jason shared that he didn’t watch while Melai was giving birth. “Pumasok lang ako noong lumabas si baby. Nakakatuwa kasi parang nakatingin na sa iyo. Nakamulat siya. Iyong feeling, parang di ko alam. Speechless po parang hindi mo ma-explain.” He said that Melai wants to breastfeed their firstborn.

Jason described their baby. “May nagsasabi (na) si Melai. May nagsasabi naman (na) ako. Tingin ko nga kamukha siya ni Melai. Tingin naman ni Melai, kamukha ko. At least, alam mo na mix talaga siya ng features namin ni Melai.”

I always say that babies are lucky. Here’s hoping that Baby Amelia Lucille will be lucky for Melai and Jason.
