MANILA, Philippines - “Okay ako ngayon. Better than last year, yun na yun,” said actress Alice Dixson when asked by the press about her personal life at the set of TV5's upcoming made-for-TV movie “More Than Words” recently.

The Kapatid star, whose divorce with Ronnie Miranda was finalized March of last year, was mum about her current love life. In an interview with the entertainment press last year, Alice admitted she's dating again. But at the set of “More Than Words,” the 44-year-actress  is coy about answering questions about her dating life.

“Hindi ako masyadong masaya. Tama lang. Kasi the more that you're happy, the more that you cry,” she quipped. The actress is currently in Dubai for the Holy Week.

Alice, meanwhile, describes her career as “super busy.” She is currently doing TV5's primetime daily comedy “Confessions of a Torpe,” apart from “More Than Words” which will also star Sarah Lahbati and Carl Guevara.

“More Than Words” will air on May 11, Sunday as TV5's Mother's Day special presentation.

“Gusto ko ng konting break sana. I spoke to ma'am Wilma (Galvante, TV5 head for entertainment) two weeks ago. Tinanong ko kung ano yung next show ko. Wala pang naka-line up, so baka magkaroon ako ng break for June to July. Kasi nahahaggard na yung beauty ko,” the actress said.

She added, “I'm not complaining. But it's nice rin to have time for my family, for myself.”

Alice further shared she does not consider acting as her “end-all and be-all.”

“I'll always come back to TV and movies because this is what I love doing. But this is not my end-all and be-all. Marami pa akong gustong gawin,” she said. “I'm thinking of taking up masters in business administration. Also on my bucket list, I want to learn how to fly.”

Alice revealed she had always wanted to learn how to fly airplanes. “Small planes lang. Siguro, about maybe 15 years ago when I started skydiving I said, 'Maybe one day I want to learn how to fly'.”

Why such a daring activity on her bucket list? “I'm turning 45 this year. I'm not getting any younger and I would want to do things before I get too old to do them.”

Alice explained, “I just think that you should at least try something at least once in your lifetime, kahit ano man yun. Kung iisipin mo, we can go at any time, right—knock on wood, something can happen to us tomorrow. So if you have the opportunity to do something now, try not to postpone it because you may not have time to do.”
