MANILA, Philippines- Maricar de Mesa and Don Allado separated?

A report by the Philippine Entertainment Portal said the couple separated three weeks ago, though denied that there's third party involved.

Another possible reason for the separation was the couple's failure to conceive a baby in their seven years of being together.

Meanwhile, Maricar’s publicist Lana Johnson could not confirm or deny the separation.

"We're not denying nor confirming the separation issue. Maricar and Don will release their official statement or face the media when they already settled things," Johnson said.

"As of now, Maricar is going through an emotional phase in her life. But as a professional, she will fulfill her obligation as an actor in her soap Villa Quintana with GMA-7. We're hoping for the best of them,” she added.

Maricar seemed to be expressing her loneliness in Instagram lately with quotes that she has been sharing to her followers.

A post one week ago pertains to someone giving up on a relationship.

She simply captioned it with “#Quotes #Thoughts”
