MANILA, Philippines - A fun, memorable summer awaits casino goers and patrons this month as Casino Filipino presents fun-filled entertainment shows.
Among Casino Filipino’s must-see performances include Randy Santiago’s (photo) nationwide concert tour which kicks off on April 5 at Casino Filipino (CF) Pavilion. Entrance is free on a first-come, first-served basis.
Bong Quintana, PAGCOR’s AVP for entertainment, said Casino Filipino’s theme for April is Hataw sa Tag-araw. “Casino Filipino patrons can expect nothing but the best shows from our celebrity guests and performers like Randy Santiago this summer. We want to offer them a summer entertainment experience like no other,†he added.
Casino Filipino will also feature Jimmy Bondoc, Rico Blanco, Jaya and the Moonstar88 band in different Casino Filipino venues.
Randy is known for his engaging performances. “I don’t know how many years exactly I have been performing in Casino Filipino. I started my singing career in 1986 and after a few years, they invited me to perform for their branches,†he said.
According to Randy, every show at Casino Filipino is always memorable. “I am always glad to be given the chance to entertain our kababayan in different places and around the country. Going on a nationwide tour in Casino Filipino is a treat for me. Madami akong napapa-sayang tao and that is fulfilling for me,†he added.
Apart from his April 5 show at CF Pavilion, Randy will also perform in CF Mimosa at Clarkfield, Pampanga on April 9; CF Davao in Grand Regal Hotel Davao, Lanang, April 11; CF Bacolod in L’ Fischer Hotel, Lacson Street, April 12; CF Cebu in Waterfront Hotel Lahug, April 13; CF Olongapo in Magsaysay Ave., April 15; CF Hyatt in Pedro Gil, Malate, Manila, April 24; Casino Filipino Parañaque in Ninoy Aquino Ave., Sucat, April 25; and CF Tagaytay in Aguinaldo Highway, April 26.
With Randy’s hits and charisma, casino goers and patrons will have a great time during the tour. “The audience would usually request for my songs and the repertoire familiar to them. They always ask for the classics like Hindi Magbabago, Babaero, Para Sa ’Yo, Naglalambing and other ’80s music. I sing to them new hits, as well as rearranged production numbers of dance and ballads,†he added.
