Binibinis vie for She’s So Jag award

MANILA, Philippines - A bevy of beauties in jeans surprised mall goers one afternoon as the Bb. Pilipinas 2014 candidates recently dropped by the JAG Boutique in Glorietta 2, Makati City.

The 40 candidates showed their fashion flair by shopping for chic, sexy denim ensembles in JAG’s Spring-Summer Collection in a fun shopping spree.

JAG, the official clothing sponsor of Bb. Pilipinas 2014, was again part of the search for the next beauty-and-brain standout who will represent the country in this year’s Miss Universe pageant.

Fans, too, were part of the search by voting for the She’s So JAG Award in the Bb. Pilipinas Coronation Night 2014 last March 30 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.

Pia Wurtzbach, the winning beauty chosen by fans and the JAG Creative Team, received P50,000 and a year supply of fashion-forward yet comfortable JAG clothing.

Bb. Pilipinas and JAG have shown that they cater to Filipino world-class beauties after a string of Top 5 finishes in Miss Universe starting with Venus Raj, Shamcey Supsup, Janine Tugonon and Ariella Arida.

Three of the four Filipinos who captured international beauty titles last year also came from Bb. Pilipinas as Bea Rose Santiago (2013 Miss International), Mutya Johanna Datul (2013 Miss Supranational) and Angeli Dione Gomez (2013 Miss Tourism International).
