Local band BOB hopes to contribute in reviving OPM

The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines- The OPM continues to get a boost as more Filipino artists join the industry.

One of them is the neophyte band BOB, which is composed of five people who are passionate about music.

BOB was formed three years ago by Ron Coronado (guitars), siblings Gale and Lowell Hufano (bass and drums, respectively), Jhunjie Dosdos (keyboards), and their vocalist Doreen “Bob” Cardinal.

Their dream to  share their music to the public came true with the help of Mecca Music, record label owned by Champ Lui Pio. Through Mecca, they were able to release their first single “Pelikula,”

This single,  which is about long and lasting love quickly gained recognition, has made it  to the playlist of different radio stations, and currently had more than 140,000 views in YouTube.
