MANILA, Philippines - Third time's the charm for North Cotabato native Mary Jean Lastimosa.

The 26-year-old beauty, who was recently named Miss Universe-Philippines, joined the local beauty in 2011 and 2012 before winning the coveted crown.
The Bb. Pilipinas 2014 coronation night, held at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City on Sunday, March 30 was a star-studded event not only because of the 40 contestants who vied for the five titles at sake during the competition.
Joining Lastimosa in the winners' list this year are Mary Anne Guidotti (Bb. Pilipinas-International), Parul Shah (Bb. Pilipias-Tourism), Yvethe Marie Santiago (Bb. Pilipinas-Supranational), and Kris Janson (Bb. Pilipinas-Intercontinental).
Three international beauty pageant titleholders were present during the coronation night: Miss Universe 2013 Gabriela Isler, Miss Supranational 2013 Mutya Johanna Datul, and Miss International 2013 Bea Rose Santiago.
Miss Universe-Philippines 2013 (and Miss Universe 2013 third runner-up) and Bb. Pilipinas-Tourism were also at the event to turn over their crowns to the new set of winners, as well Ma. Venus Raj (Miss Universe 2010 fourth runner-up) and Shamcey Supsup (Miss Universe 2011 third runner-up).
The program was hosted by Anne Curtis and Xian Lim with a special performance by Russian pop star Emin.
