TV5 continues to grow regionally

The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - The first quarter of 2014 has proven to be a great start for TV5, as the Kapatid Network continues to roll out one successful regional road show after another  beginning with the Sinulog and Dinagyang festivals at the start of the year, a record-setting Valentine’s show in Davao last February, and then in Baguio, where a 12,000-strong crowd witnessed the closing ceremonies of the Panagbenga Festival, which was led by TV5.

Recently, the Kapatid Network’s regional growth momentum was in full swing again, as manifested during the Araw ng Dabaw Festival mall show, where despite the presence of a whole slew of other activities in line with the week-long celebration of the Araw ng Dabaw 2014 Festival, a record-breaking 15,000 Davaoeños attended  the special event.

TV5’s Araw ng Dabaw Festival mall show was led by Daniel Matsunaga, who recently starred in Studio5 Original Movies’ made-for-TV film offering, The Replacement Bride, together with some of the cast members of the daily primetime tawaserye Confessions of a Torpe (airing Mondays to Fridays at 7:30 p.m.) — Wendell Ramos, Mark Neumann, Bayani Agbayani and Albie Casiño.

Also joining them was the cast of Tropa Moko Unli (airing Saturday nights at 7) and Juan Direction (airing Sunday nights at 9:15) — Eula Caballero, Empoy Marquez and the hunks of Juan Direction.
