'Love! Love! Love!' Vice Ganda and Nancy Binay take selfie

MANILA, Philippines - Have comedian Vice Ganda and senator Nancy Binay patched things up?

On Wednesday, March 26, the Kapamilya star posted a selfie with Binay on his official Instagram account.

The caption for the photo reads: "Love! Love! Love!"

It can be remembered that Vice made a swipe against Nancy in 2013 during the senatorial elections (where Nancy was a candidate). Asked during a press conference May of last year if he has any political plans, Vice quipped: "Gusto ko president ako agad. Yung wala kang background, pero mataas agad, parang 'yung mga pulitiko lang ngayon. Walang background, pero senador agad."

Prodded by the press if he was referring to anyone in particular, the "It's Showtime" co-host answered, "Sila Nancy Binay, sino pa ba?"

But Nancy, who eventually won a senatorial seat during the elections last year, dismissed Vice's comment. "We are in a free a country and everybody is entitled to his or her opinion. I respect it. Siguro, hindi niya lang talaga na-appreciate yung pagiging assistant ko sa nanay ko at sa tatay ko," she told an online news website in an interview.
