MANILA, Philippines - The first stint of Aga Muhlach as a game show host has proven to be a success as the first season of TV5’s Let’s Ask Pilipinas received positive feedback and encouraging viewership ratings throughout its five-month extended run (with an extension of more than two months from its initial three-month season).
Let’s Ask Pilipinas is TV5’s daily game show wherein the contestants are asked to answer survey-based questions where there are no right or wrong answers. A contestant just needs to predict the answer regarding various day-to-day situations as given by the majority of Pinoy respondents. A lucky contestant may take home the P500,000 at stake in every episode.
In hosting a game show for the very first time, Aga has this to say: “We didn’t expect this reception this soon, so thank you very much for making Let’s Ask Pilipinas a part of your lives.â€
The game show has given hope, inspiration and entertainment to its audiences, especially the contestants who get to participate via online video conference without leaving the comforts of their homes.
In this week’s episode, two contestants reached the P100,000 elimination prize. Will the player from Saranggani Province wager everything even as she plays in the dark because of the rotational brownouts happening in Mindanao? Meanwhile, another contestant risks the P100,000 in order to help her mother rebuild their house that was destroyed by Supertyphoon Yolanda.
Kapatid viewers also get to be part of the hit game show with the Let’s Ask Pilipinas game online.
Let’s Ask Pilipinas airs Mondays to Fridays at 7 p.m.
