‘Keen to Help’ benefits kids

The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - US footwear brand Keen is happy to have recently provided the young survivors of Yolanda with a donation of 28,000 pairs of Keen shoes. Recipients of the donation included the youth from various towns in Eastern Samar (Basey, Balangiga, Salcedo, Mercedes, Guiuan and Hernani) and Palo, Leyte. The distribution drive, which was aptly called Keen to Help, was made possible by Keen Footwear USA, Recreational Outdoor eXchange (R.O.X.), Center for Outdoor Recreation and Expedition of Primer Group of Companies and Team Energy Foundation with the cooperation of different organizations such as Team Patola for its relief operation expertise, F2 logistics, and Litton Foundation. The effort is meant to provide the children with comfortable and durable shoes that they can use every day.
