MANILA, Philippines - Back in Manila for his Moonshine Jungle Tour concert tonight at the SM Mall of Asia Arena, Bruno Mars is making his return extra special with a $100,000 donation for the young victims of Supertyphoon Yolanda through ABS-CBN Lingkod Kapamilya Foundation, Inc.’s Bantay Bata 163.

The generous donation, which the Filipino-American pop singer personally handed over to Bantay Bata officials led by Tina Monzon-Palma yesterday at the Solaire Resort & Casino, will be utilized to assist and care for children affected by the supertyphoon, and help bring back the esteem and morale of orphans who lost their homes and families.

Bantay Bata 163, which recently celebrated its 17th anniversary, will also conduct feeding programs and medical mission to address the basic and immediate needs of kids.

The Grammy-winning singer visited and bonded with the children of Bantay Bata during his first tour to the Philippines three years ago.

Since his first performance in the country, Bruno has become one of the biggest-selling artists of his generation with over five million albums and 45 million singles sold worldwide.
