Mendez authors health & fitness book

MANILA, Philippines - Edward Mendez has taken on a different challenge in his career. This time, the actor-model and official Sexy Solutions by Belo’s fitness consultant has taken his advocacy for good health and fitness to a whole new level by authoring a book called Your Dream Body Come True.

The book details Edward’s personal health and fitness journey from being an overweight young adult to achieving his “dream body” now at the prime of his life. Edward’s extensive study and research in the US have equipped him with the wisdom to put in motion a fool-proof system to realize this goal. The secret, he says, lies in precision training and optimum nutrition.

Edward was born in the Philippines and was raised in Maryland, US where he studied and accrued most of his knowledge on precision training and optimum nutrition. His broad and deep understanding of sports science and medicine ignited the passion to help people achieve their best physique.

He is the favorite fitness experts of socialites, celebrities and personalities, some of whom are Ces Drilon, Martin Nievera, Dr. Vicki Belo and Cristalle Henares. At Belo’s Sexy Solutions, Edward’s program has become an in-demand staple in the non-surgical arm of the Belo clinic that focuses on slimming through the perfect combination of technology, fitness and nutrition.

While all the weight-loss programs around instruct us to cut down on eating, Edward’s fitness principle is hinged on the “eat more, exercise less” philosophy. This is what his book, Your Dream Body Come True, talks about extensively. The book was launched last January in an elaborate event held at Dr. Belo’s residence in Makati. Last March 8, a book-signing was held in National Bookstore Glorietta where Edward generously shared some insights about the book to inspire those who were there to take up the challenge and work to achieve their “dream body.”
