An ideal shopping destination

MANILA, Philippines - The influx of tourists in the Philippines could be attributed to its world-class beaches and resorts, sceneries, historical and cultural landmarks, festivals, as well as hospitable and amiable people.

Another reason is they consider the Philippines an ideal shopping destination. One favorite shopping mall is Greenhills Shopping Complex in the San Juan-Mandaluyong area, a bargain mecca catering to people from all walks of life.

Local and foreign shoppers are invited to come  to the 21st National Furniture, Furnishing Fashion Festival to be held back-to-back with the 10th Philippine Folk Arts & Crafts Festival starting March 15.

According to Henry Babiera, head of Prime Asia Trade Planners & Convention Organizers (PATEPCO), VIPs like the Queen of Spain as well as former US Ambassador Kristie Kenney were spotted in Greenhills.

The shopping complex features a department store, beauty shops, the Music Museum and a food strip, among others.
