Ynna on Mark admitting having a baby: I’m hurting but there’s nothing else I can do

MANILA, Philippines- Ynna Asistio is still in shock after finding out about Mark Herras’ 3-month old baby.

In the Feb. 23 episode of “Startalk,” Mak admits about her daughter, but refused to identify the mother of the child.

There have been talks about him having a child, which the Kapuso actor repeatedly denied. Asked why he finally decided to admit it he said, “Kasi sawang-sawa na akong mag-deny, e. I’m very proud of Ada dahil siya po ang aking first baby girl.”

Six months had passed since Mark and Ynna broke up, with reasons they chose to keep to themselves. Since the baby is three-months old, it means that the baby was conceived while Mark and Ynna are still together.

Showbiz reporter Nelson Canlas asked Ynna for an interview but she refused, he reported in “24 Oras” Monday, Feb. 24. Instead, the actress gave a statement through a text message sent by her mother Nadia Montenegro.

In the message she said that she only found out about Mark’s baby Valentine’s Day this year. Though still in “shock,” Ynna hopes that “Mark is happy now and at peace.”

Here is Ynna’s full statement:

“Unfortunately, I only found out last Feb 14, I had no idea po… I’m hurting but there’s nothing else I can do. I wish Mark well and I hope he takes good care of his baby. Now, I’m still in shock. I can’t believe my family and I were the last to know. I hope Mark is happy now and at peace.

“Mas nagiging strong ako everytime nakikita ko messages ng mga tao. I lift everything to God, alam kong may purpose lahat itong nangyayari and I will take it positively.”

Ynna’s posts in Instagram seem to affirm this as she post positive messages in her account.

First is last Sunday, Feb. 23, which is a prayer where she thanks God for “closed doors.”

She captioned this with “God has a reason for allowing things to happen we may never understand God's wisdom but we simply have 2 trust God's will. God bless!”

She have a another post today, which is a photo of her smiling with a quote, “Love a lot. Smile more. Laugh harder. Live Life.” Together with this photo she said, “Make the most of each day you're given. Surround yourself with people who make you laugh. Do the things that make you smile. Take time to enjoy the life u have Good day everyone God bless!”
