Vice Ganda, Karylle kiss and make up

The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines- Vice Ganda and Karylle are now in good terms.

On Tuesday, the public witnessed how the two “It’s Showtime” hosts kissed and made up.

It could be recalled that the two had a rift due to Karylle's fiancé, Yael Yuzon, who commented on the Vice-Karylle loveteam.

During the “Sine Mo ‘To” segment of the show, they were re-enacting the graduation scene on the film “Starting Over Again.” With Vice as the dean, he presented the award to Karylle who portrayed Ginny.

Before handing the medal, Vice hugged Karylle. Billy Crawford who is the narrator grabbed the opportunity and said, “Teka isa pang hug!”

Karylle affirmed this saying, “Aalis ka na bukas! Dali na!” Vice then gave in and hugged her, even lifting her which made everyone cheer.

Then Vice said, “Before you accept the award I want to tell you this… "Nakaka-miss ka pala,” which elicited another cheer from the crowd. He then added, “Aalis na ako ‘no! Ayoko naman umalis na kagalit ko pa ‘to. Mahal ko ‘to ‘no!”

Vice will leave the country for his concert “i-Vice Ganda Mo Ko sa Amerika” which will happen on Feb. 28 to March 1 in San Francisco and Los Angeles, respectively.

After giving her “graduation speech,” Jhong who played the role of Marco was supposed to give a bouquet of flowers to Karylle. But he said, “Ayoko ibagay ‘tong moment na ‘to para sa akin. Gusto ko ‘to ibigay kay Vice. I-congrats mo naman si Ginny!” the handed the flowers to Vice.

Vice then approached Karylle, imitating Piolo’s character in the film who said, “I love you, Ginny!” then gave the flowers to her.

Karylle was already emotional when Billy interjected, “Dahil dyan, group hug!” The whole group then hugged each other with the song “That’s What Friends Are For” playing on the background.
