Marian, Dingdong in Baguio’s Panagbenga

MANILA, Philippines - Marian Rivera and Dingdong Dantes take a trip to Baguio leading GMA 7’s contingent in celebrating Panagbenga Festival.

Tomorrow, Feb. 22, GMA Regional TV mounts a series of events for the city’s annual flower festival at the Rambakan Drive in SM City Baguio. Starting this off is a Kapuso Mall Show featuring the lead stars of the afternoon drama series Innamorata at 3 p.m.

Max Collins, Luis Alandy, Jackie Rice, Gwen Zamora and Dion Ignacio are set to delight fans up north with their performances. Adding flavor to the event is Boobay.

At 5 p.m., a Kapuso Fans Day starring Dingdong follows with Gabby Eigenmann as host. Prior to the show, Dingdong visits Loakan Elementary School to reach out to its indigent students and distribute school supplies.

Finally, a Kapuso Night bannered by Marian and Alden Richards from Carmela, Ang Pinakamagandang Babae sa Mundong Ibabaw completes the series of events. Boobay returns as host, with James Wright also joining to serenade the crowd with Carmela’s theme music Sana’y Ikaw.

The next day, Feb. 23, participating in the annual, florid Panagbenga Grand Parade are Marian and Alden aboard a Kapuso float for both locals and tourists to see beginning at 8 a.m. The network’s regional station in Dagupan, meanwhile, delivers a live coverage of the Panagbenga Grand Parade airing at 7 a.m. via GMA TV Dagupan Channel 10.

Highlights of the network’s participation in the festival will be seen in Let’s Fiesta TV Special which airs on March 9 through regional stations in Bicol, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Dagupan, Ilocos, GenSan, Bacolod and CDO.
