Kris Aquino admits having a ‘semi-broken heart’

MANILA, Philippines – Was Kris Aquino dumped by a suitor before her birthday?

In an episode of ABS-CBN’s reality talk show “Kris TV” aired Monday, February 17, the TV host-actress opened up about her love life, telling guests Pokwang and Erich Gonzales that she has “a semi-broken heart.”

This is after it was recently revealed that the Kapamilya star has a suitor.

Without naming the guy, Kris told comedienne Pokwang: “Yeah, it hurts. Kasi ako yung nasabihan ng, ‘I never want to talk to you or text you for the rest of my life.’ That’s life. Kung pwede ko lang talaga ma-rewind o ma-edit kung ano yung nangyari.” “Kina-shock ko talaga yun. Sabi ko, ‘Ouch, how harsh.’ Pero at least 'di ba, walang lokohan,” she added.

Kris quipped that the guy didn’t even wait until Valentine’s Day. “Doon ako buwisit na buwisit talaga,” she said.

The TV host-actress celebrated her birthday on February 14, Valentine’s Day.

However, the “Kris TV” host said she only allowed herself one day to feel sad after what happened and even revealed she might another guy who’s been asking her out for dinner a chance. “Kagabi talaga, bago ako matulog nag-pray ako talaga na, ‘Don’t let me be bitter, God.’ Kung ano man ang nangyari, siguro okay na,” Kris said.

These revelations coincide with Kris’ cryptically romantic posts on the photo sharing service Instagram recently.

Kris, who recently turned 43 years old, said she’s not giving up on finding love.

“Kasi 'di ba, if you won’t give yourself a chance how will you ever get a chance? I’m giving myself a chance,” she said.

“Sabi ng ate ko talaga kagabi, ‘Well he had the courage to take you out and like you. So malakas din ang loob niya to tell you ayaw na niya sa iyo.’ Reality, 'di ba. Sabi ng ate ko, ‘If he doesn’t like my sister, he’s not good enough for my sister,’ Sabi ko, ‘Tama!’,” Kris added.

Kris has been linked to a couple of personalities after her separation with ex-husband James Yap, including actor Daniel Matsunaga and Makati Mayor Junjun Binay.
