Search is on for 2014 Mrs. Phl-Globe

The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - The search for the country’s most empowered married woman or single mother will once again honor Filipina women of substance who play an important role in the society.

Mrs. Philippines Globe 2014 salutes Filipino women who possess that rare combination of beauty and substance. The pageant celebrates women who do not let age and civil status get in the way of fulfilling their dreams, and whose achievements, life stories and charitable acts serve as inspiration to others.

On its third year, the pageant’s special screenings will be held on March 15 for Cebu-Davao screening at the Teatro Casino, PAGCOR Cebu, Waterfront Hotel, Lahug, Cebu City. The GMA-Luzon screening will be on March 22 at the Citrus Snap Studio, eighth floor, RCI Bldg, Rada St., Makati City. Deadline is on March 1.

Only 20 official candidates will be chosen to compete for the coveted crown during the national pageant night set on May 17 at the SMX Aura Premiere in Bonifacio Global City. The winner will represent the Philippines in the Mrs. Globe 2015 World Finals at Shenzhen, China in November.

Mrs. Philippines-Globe is the local franchise of Mrs. Globe USA, an organization strongly affiliated with The Women In Need Foundation, which aims to help abused women and children recover their self-esteem. The pageant emphasizes that women have the right to be heard, loved and respected.
