MANILA, Philippines - DWIZ’s Pusong Pinoy and Pari Ko host lawyer Jose Ferdinand Rojas II (photo), GM of PCSO, will lead celebrities in bringing cheers to cancer-stricken children during Tahan-Tahanan’s third anniversary to be held at the lower ground of East Ave. Medical Center, East Ave., Quezon City today, from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Manila Bulletin public relations manager Badette Cunanan, Philippine Air Force pilot Mario Mendoza Jr. and beauty queen-singer Ali Forbes will emcee the event at Tahan-Tahanan, the Philippines’ first halfway home for kids with cancer, from zero to 20 years old, inside a public hospital that has benefitted young patients living in far-flung areas.
It is supported by volunteers from all walks of life, from the academe, artists, Kapisanan ng may K sa Pilipinas, the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office, social workers, to housewives and students.
