A homosexual’s fight for love in documentary ‘Jazz in Love’

MANILA, Philippines- Valentine’s Day is fast approaching and everyone’s  searching for the best treat ever.

But if you want to go for untraditional celebration, why not watch a documentary together?

As a pre-valentine and at the same time a valentine offering, Philippine Cine Adarna in UP Diliman will screen the documentary “Jazz in Love.”

This is a story about Ernesto “Jazz” Tigaldao, a 22-year-old homosexual who is doing his best to pass a Deutsch-language test. His reason? So he could marry his 56-year-old German partner Theodor Rutkowski.

The documentary will show how Jazz and Theodor met, their courtship, and how Theodor will ask for their marriage’s blessing from Jazz's family who cannot accept his sexuality.
