Heart denies she’s living in with Chiz

MANILA, Philippines – “Hindi talaga pwede.”

Thus said Heart Evangelista when asked if she is already living in together with boyfriend Senator Francis “Chiz” Escudero in an interview with GMA-7’s showbiz talk show “Startalk” on Sunday, February 9.

“We can’t live together. Unless, you know, we get married. And then we’ll live together,” the Kapuso actress added.

The two admitted, however, that they live in the same village. Chiz even quipped his house is only “128 steps” from Heart’s.

Chiz appeared as a guest on “Startalk,” where his actress-girlfriend serves as co-host, as part of Heart’s birthday celebration on the talk show.

Chiz and Heart became a couple in 2012. Many criticized the Philippine senator for allegedly riding on the Kapuso star’s popularity for his political gain. But he denied using Heart for his political ambitions.

“Nung nakaraang eleksyon, mas sakit ng ulo pa nga kaysa advantage,” he said. It was during the election season last year when Heart’s mother Cecilia Ongpauco said the senator to leave her daughter alone. The said issue reportedly affected Chiz’s standing during the senatorial election.

“Pinatunayan ko naman yun — nung nangampanya ako, never ko siyang sinama at sinabi ko sa simula pa lang, never ko siyang isasama sa anumang kampanya,” Chiz added.

“Naiinis na nga ako. Minsan sumasama ako sa mga side trips niya pero hanggang kotse lang ako dahil ayaw niya ako bumaba,” Heart added.
