Angel on reconciliation with ex-boyfriend Luis: ‘It’s getting there’

MANILA, Philippines – Has Angel Locsin officially gotten back together with Luis Manzano, weeks after admitting she still has feeling for her ex-boyfriend?

Asked if she has already reconciled with Luis in an interview with ABS-CBN’s morning talk show “Kris TV” aired Monday, February 10, Angel said: “Inaayos pa namin. It’s getting there.”

She added, “Sa lahat pa bang pinagsasabi ko, magtatago pa ba ako or may itatago pa ba ako?”

“The Legal Wife” star explained she and Luis are currently fixing issues they were not able to settle when they were in a relationship.

The two broke up in 2009. However, last month, the Kapamilya actress said in a press conference that she wants to reconcile with Luis. In a separate interview with the press following her admission, the actor-TV host said he is open to the idea of getting back together with Angel.

“Parang inaayos lang namin yung mga hindi namin na-settle before nung mga issues. Pero yung mahal, love, andun pa rin naman yun. Hindi naman namin yun nawala,” Angel said. “Inaayos lang talaga namin at pinaguusapan.”

In an interview with movie cable channel Cinema One’s showbiz news show “Cinema News,” Luis said also he and Angel are not yet formally a couple.

“I can swear on it, hindi pa talaga kami nagkabalikan. Andun na kami sa point na, yes, parang kami na, even how we act,” he said. “Pero yung formality na, 'Yes, we’re back together,' wala pa. Syempre, formality is needed. Hindi naman pwede na nasa gray area kayo palagi.”
