Heart ‘very happy’ about ex-boyfriend Jericho’s upcoming wedding

MANILA, Philippines – Heart Evangelista is happy her ex-boyfriend Jericho Rosales found his “fairytale ending” with TV host Kim Jones.

It was earlier reported that Jericho and Kim are getting married on May 1 in Boracay after getting engaged August of last year. Heart and the Kapamilya actor became a couple in 2006 and broke up in 2008.

“I wish them all the best,” the Kapuso actress told members of the press on Wednesday, February 5, when asked about Jericho’s upcoming marriage.

“Everyone wants that fairytale ending. And I’m glad that they have it. So I’m very happy for them,” she added.

Heart, who is currently in a relationship with Sen. Francis “Chiz” Escudero, said she herself is “living a fairytale already.” But wedding is not yet in the offing for Heart and her beau.

“Not yet now,” she said when asked about settling down with Chiz. “But definitely it’s there. It’s part of the plan. It’s just a matter of timing and time.”

Heart talked to the entertainment press, including Philstar.com, during her launch as fast food chain Wendy’s newest endorser. The fast food chain also introduced their latest product, the Pretzel Bacon Cheeseburger, during the event.

The endorsement deal bodes well for Heart as she celebrates her 29th birthday next week, February 14.

“It’s just amazing how all of this is happening at the same time. It’s overwhelming. I’m just so happy,” Heart said.

She admits 2013 — when the actress had a misunderstanding with her parents; an issue remains unresolved until now — was a difficult year. But Heart feels 2014 is turning out to be a good year.

“So much has happened in my life,” Heart said. “I’ve learned so much. Last year was tough. This year, bumawi naman.”

Aside from her endorsements, Heart is busy with her GMA-7 shows and her upcoming movie with TV5 actor Derek Ramsay.

For her birthday, Heart is planning to go to Hong Kong with her friends and her boyfriend Chiz.

As for her birthday wish? “I don’t think I can wish for anything else. There’s just so much na parang it’s nakakahiya to ask pa from God. But if I could wish one more time, it’s probably na sana magtuloy-tuloy yung nangyayari sa akin, that I’d be happy with what I have,” Heart shared.
