Vhong’s friends, colleagues continually show their support

The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - Friends of Vhong Navarro continually show their support to him through prayers, messages from different social media, and by visiting him.

Jhong Hilario, Ryan Bang and Lolit Solis are just three of the personalities interviewed by GMA news reporter JP Soriano outside St. Luke’s Medical Center, which was aired on the news program “Balitanghali” Friday, January 31.

Navarro is still being observed in the said hospital as he continually recovers after he was beaten up by a group of men at the condominium unit of Deneice Cornejo Wednesday night, January 22.

His friend and co-Streetboys member Jhong Hilario said that Navarro still has difficulty in walking alone. He refused to comment on the ongoing case of his friend against Cornejo and Cedric Lee’s camp.

He has a short message to those who are involved in the incident.

“Kung nagsasabi talaga sila ng totoo, kailangan maipaliwanag nila. And si Vhong naman talaga ang magpapaliwanag niyan kung anuman ang sinasabi ninyo,” he said.

Meanwhile, Navarro’s co-host in the ABS-CBN noontime show “It’s Showtime” continually asks “prayers” for his full recovery.

Talent manager, TV host and columnist Lolit Solis also visited Navarro and was glad to see the positivity that the actor-host is showing everyone.

“Sabi niya nga wake-up call daw, e,” she relates. “Maganda, maganda naman ang outlook niya sa [nangyari]. I think he can easily recover.”
