Globe goes big at Dinagyang Fest

MANILA, Philippines - Globe Telecom turned the Iloilo Provincial Capitol Grounds into a vast and colorful village in celebration of this year’s Dinagyang Festival. The telecommunications company brought its Globe Mobility Store-on-the-Go that featured its offers and allowed customers to inquire and apply for postpaid and broadband plans.

Locals and tourists also enjoyed food carts and drinks stations, interactive game booths, exciting prizes and entertainment acts from local and international DJs. One of the highlights of the four-day event was the popular Kaloka-like contest, where participants showcased their looks and talents to be the best Iloilo City impersonator, as adjudged by Kaloka-like winners Nicki Minaj, Marian Rivera and Sam Pinto. Present at the opening of the Globe Mobility Store-on-the-Go were (from left) Globe head of Retail Transformation and Management Joe Caliro, Iloilo City Mayor Jed Patrick Mabilog, Iloilo City Rep.
