MANILA, Philippines – DJ-actress Kat Alano took to social networking site Twitter to share her thoughts about rape.
Alano’s tweets came after news about Vhong Navarro’s case came out, wherein the actor was accused of attempted rape by a 22-year-old student, later identified as Denience Milinette Cornejo. The actor denied Cornejo’s claim, saying the mauling and attempted rape claim are part of an extortion plot.
This prompted netizens to believe the actress’ posts are related to Vhong’s mauling case.

On Monday, January 27, she said: “You trust your friends don't you? What if one of them told you they had been raped? Would you doubt her? Or would you kick that SOBs ass?â€
Alano added, “Be brave. We are beside you. Be strong. We will prevail.†On Tuesday, January 28, Alano tweeted a series of tweets about rape.
