Matteo Guidicelli says hosting ‘Biggest Loser’ is a ‘dream come true’

The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines- Matteo Guidicelli says that hosting “The Biggest Loser Pinoy Edition Doubles” is a “dream come true” for him.

“It’s my dream to host a fitness show and to be part of a fitness show,” he says during the presscon of “The Biggest Loser” Thursday afternoon. “Now that I’m a part of it, I’m a Challenge Master, I’m so excited to change people’s lives.”

Together with him as a Challenge Master is Robi Domingo, while the main host of the show is Iza Calzado.

Together with fitness coaches Jim and Toni Saret, Matteo and Robi will give the 14 contestants their daily fitness challenge.

“‘Yung workout routines namin sobrang iba po,” he said. “Everybody can do it, you don’t need gym equipment to do it. So it’s going to connect to the audience right away, they get to learn from it.”

Being a triathlete himself, Matteo is a perfect choice to host  the show.

The first step, he added, in motivating yourself to lose weight is to actually acknowledge the fact that you need it.

“For me ha, look at yourself in the mirror and tell yourself that you really want to be fit.”

Then he suggested, “Go to the gym, get a trainer, someone you really trust or join groups kasi mas masaya kapag grupo, e. So get in a group, running group or gym group and devote time to it.”

“The Biggest Loser Pinoy Edition Doubles” will start airing on February 3.
