Jennylyn: No reconciliation with Mark, ex-boyfriends

MANILA, Philippines – Although she’s in good terms with former boyfriend Mark Herras, Jennylyn Mercado is dismissing the possibility of reconciling with the Kapuso actor.

“Kasi di ba, sa relationship, hindi natin masasabi kung ano mangyayari—kung kayo ba talaga o hindi. Pero pag friendship, forever yan,” Jennylyn said in a press conference recently.

She added, “Special ang friendship namin ni Mark and ayokong mawala yun. Ganun siya ka-special. Gusto ko yung friendship namin, forever yan.”

In previous interviews, Jennylyn said she is not the type of person who reconciles with an ex-beau.

When asked if that’s still her current stance when it comes to former boyfriends, she quipped:

On reconciling with any of her former boyfriends, Jennylyn quipped: “Sa ngayon, ganun pa rin ang pananaw ko. Kasi ex nga, e, ‘Rhodora X,’ e. Tapos na, e.”

“Rhodora X” is Jennylyn’s upcoming drama with Mark and fellow “Starstruck” season one alumnus Yasmien Kurdi.

Jennylyn was once rumored to have mended fences with ex-boyfriend Dennis Trillo, an issue she quickly denied.

“Hindi na ako umimik about it kasi bakit? Hindi naman totoo. Wala akong utang sa kahit kanino para magpaliwanag. E kung hindi totoo, bakit kailangan kong magexplain? So pabayaan ko lang,” the Kapuso star said, adding she currently has no communication with Dennis.

Aside from Dennis and Mark, Jennylyn’s ex-boyfriends from showbiz include Luis Manzano and Patrick Garcia. Jennylyn has a son with Patrick.

In the GMA-7 soap opera “Rhodora X,” Jennylyn plays a character with split personality.

The show will premiere on Monday, January 27 on GMA-7.
